This year we decided to support our schools with their eye health, ensuring that all our children can see clearly to support their education. The Eye Health project was conducted on June 15th 2022, in partnership with Lions SightFirst Eye Hospital who donated their time to support us.
741 children and over 25 teachers were eye tested across both Destiny and Ark schools. Eye drops were prescribed on the day to those who required them. The children and teachers who require glasses, were referred to the Lions SightFirst Eye hospital for further tests and glasses were prescribed. The total cost of the project was £675.
A huge thank you to the Lions SightFirst Eye hospital for their support. Please click here to learn more about this amazing organisation supporting local communities with their eye health.

Thank you to everyone who took part in this project!
