We need you!
If you are a committed and dedicated individual who wants to support a charity to feed and educate children in Africa then WE NEED YOU!
We understand time commitments are difficult so if you can offer half a day a week to help us on particular fundraising projects we would love to hear from you. Currently we are looking for support in the following areas:
– Event Officer
o We are looking for creative volunteers with strong communication skills to help us run successful fundraising events around the UK.
You will be involved with planning, budgeting and implementing the event from start to finish. You will need to be a confident individual who can help build relationships with sponsors and participants alongside getting involved with marketing the event.
– School Officer
o We are looking for a confident individual to help us launch a ‘Schools Scheme’ getting schools involved in fundraising.
– Design Officer
o We are looking for a creative individual who can think outside of the box! We need someone who can help use their skills to create some of our design work throughout the year, including marketing material.
– Trusts Fundraising
o We are looking for someone who has written funding proposals. We need to apply to UK Trusts for funding and need someone who can use their writing skills to help us do this.
If you feel that any of the above roles would suit you please contact email@example.com
Like others around the world, I volunteer because I value the cause and feel we all have something to contribute. I chose to volunteer with Nia Children’s Foundation because I believe in education. Education is the key to helping kids have a brighter future. Nia Children’s Foundation helps 250 kids attend school and I’m happy knowing that these children will now be able to shape our world for the better. I believe gathering friends, family, colleagues and strangers around a cause should be part and parcel of our lives. Sharing and motivating is what volunteering is about! While it’s hard work for one person to change a child’s life, I believe if we work together we can change do it and even change many children’s lives!Sonia Taourghi, Events and Projects Volunteer
Last year I was fortunate enough to visit St Monica’s school in Kenya and see firsthand the amazing work that Nia Children’s Foundation does. I ate lunch with the kids, watched them participate in class and cried when they sang me a song, thanking me for my support. I’ve been working with the Foundation for a few years and know how hard all the volunteers work. Education really does give kids the best start to life and I’m happy to say Nia is doing just that!Rachel Kurzyp, Communications Volunteer
Nia Children’s Foundation is a remarkable charity; its goals are simple but life changing. I have been a volunteer since it was founded and it is genuinely the most rewarding thing I’ve ever done. Events are professionally run and are always loads of fun. The compassionate and dedication of the team is simply inspirational.Rupal Patel, Events Volunteer
