Natasha Jivraj has started her own initative selling bracelet’s and tasbih’s and donating $1 from every sale to the kids food supplies.
Here is a few words from Natasha about her amazing venture:
“Something I am passionate about is to give back to those in need. This became even more important to me when I was fortunate enough to visit my families roots on a trip to Africa in 2016. During this trip, my family was able to visit Destiny School in Nairobi. Nia Children’s Foundation supports this school by providing meals to the children at the school. This visit was incredible and I truly admire and appreciate the work Nia does. When I started my business in 2019 in Lethbridge, Alberta, my family suggested this foundation would be the perfect place to give back to and I couldn’t agree more. I connected with Shezmin to see how I can give back.
I will be donating $1 from every sale of a gemstone bracelet or tasbih (Islamic prayer beads) to help support this extraordinary foundation. I am incredibly grateful for this opportunity to help make a difference in these children’s lives. In addition to the Nia Children’s Foundation, Tashbihs has also raised funds for the Breast Cancer Foundation and currently the Manavta project. I hope to keep helping these wonderful causes. “
